Description: What do you do when your roommates are idiots, your girlfriend is sleeping with an ape, and your best friend is slightly obsessed with burritos, beer, and younger girls? You go to the skatepark, you jump off bridges, and get in fights, but most of all, you move on.
Follow Tyler (Rob Powell) as he lives through one day of his life. It just so happens this is the same day he discovers his girlfriend is exploring, how shall we say, new possibilities. This is the day his best friend Cass (Jason Newitt) discovers the same thing and decides to take matters into his own hands, or mouth. And this is the day that Tyler and Cass realize, that no matter what happens, life goes on. Somewhere in the beer induced haze radiating from the video games and kung fu movies, they find what is important, they find their goals, they find their focus.
"Lost Focus," shot entirely in Seattle, Washington by a young cast and crew, was done using the newest digital technology available. It is perhaps not an answer to all our questions, but makes them interesting to think about. It's a drama that never takes itself too seriously, a comedy that makes you think, but most of all... it's life. With hard hitting, witty dialogue and a documentary style approach, "Lost Focus" provides a thought provoking glimpse into the reality of today's youth. In the end, we learn that sometimes the only thing to do is sit back with a smile on our faces, and touch a beer to our lips as we let that question, "What am I gonna do now?" go unanswered.
